About The Sha’Madr Series
Colonists from Edyn crashed on an inhabited planet, light-years from their destination. Trapped and with no way off, they created a home for themselves. Then the people of Helmyr, near immortals who’d emerged from the primordial waters of Helmyr rained destruction and havoc upon the colonists of Edyn.
Until Lahe, wise woman to the colonists, and her consort, Reth, were called upon by their Ruler Nido to bind the wild Helmyr and they did, but they could not foresee the consequences of their actions.
Enslaved and forced to serve Edyn, Lahe and Reth watched over them, ever alert for their escape. And it might have gone on this way forever, except Lahe and Reth’s spirited daughter, was cast out of her apprenticeship and to her parents for discipline for her ever-increasing disobedience and defiance of Nido’s supreme rule. The enslaved Helmyr saw their freedom and took it.
Tricking the untrained child into bathing in the primordial waters of Helmyr, they caused an irrevocable and premature change to befall Prudr, one that no one would see for years. She became Queen of the Helmyr, and something else entirely, something more powerful and dangerous.
As their Queen and with no real plan, Prudr lead the Helmyr out of City of Juktor and into the hellish deserts of Kitall. Women, every single one of them, soon took mates. There was the Madr, the simple mating of flesh. There was the Raa’Madr, those who mated because of the heart’s desire. And then there was the very rare Sha’Madr, those who souls were forever linked, those blessed by the gods with power beyond imagining and undeniable destinies that could not be circumvented.

Q: How many books are in The Sha’Madr Series?
There is one book and one short story, there is a plan for two others. However, I’m taking a break from the series to work on Children of Khaos and debating on whether or not to change the series. I’ve been debating making all the books into two worlds. The Greek mythical world and the Sha’Madr world.
